Painting Classes

Painting classes at Tales in Tiles are starting again, and we couldn’t be more excited!

In our classes, we leave everyday life behind and make space for creativity through painting.

The classes are taught by Myrto Kalliga Gavrili, a painter and graduate of the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Besides being a wonderfully warm and approachable person, Myrto brings experience, knowledge and, most importantly, an incredible ability to share her passion for painting and draw you into its world.

Myrto describes the classes:

“The painting classes focus on developing skills in drawing and colour, working either from life or from references. With the aim of becoming familiar with a variety of media, participants are encouraged to get their hands dirty with materials such as acrylics, inks, pastels, charcoal, paper collage and more. This ongoing practice is tailored to each person’s interests and needs, while combining practical work with theory and Art History, with the aim of developing an understanding of the language of painting.”

Whether you have previous experience or are picking up a paintbrush for the very first time, we invite you to paint, experiment and, above all, enjoy the process!

You can book your spot for the first class for €30 and, if you decide to continue, you can then book the 4-class package for €100. The €30 paid for the first class will be deducted from the package price.
